Welcome to my gallery of paintings and drawings.  I am an amateur but always pleased to take on commissions.

Born in England, I moved to the United States in 1980 to work the U.S. subsidiary of my UK company.I am an engineer by profession and always an artist by heart.   My family and I are proud to be United States citizens.

This website is a collection of my drawings and paintings from the mid 1960’s and 1970’s, along with more recent ones completed after my retirement in 2003.   Most of the paintings are acrylic on canvas and typical sizes range from 12 x 16 to 24 x 36 inches.

One of my favorite painters is the late English watercolourist Rowland Hilder.   In fact I think of him as my mentor and his instructional books as my tutor.  Lovers of his work will find on this website, some of my paintings which use pictures from the Hilder books as my subject, although my work is in acrylics which requires a quite different technique to watercolour.  The specific works are noted as "after Hilder".

Some of my works are available for sale and others or similar ones can be reproduced as originals to order.
